Bartending Academy

Taught by bartending professionals from the Main Line Center for Bartending, the Bartending Academy at PSA teaches skills needed to become a bartender. A wide range of topics is covered including mixing, technique, bar etiquette, customer service, and up selling.

You have the option of signing up for the course that meets on Tuesday nights or the course that meets on Wednesday nights. In addition, there will be one optional TIPS certification class on a Sunday. All course sessions take place at an on-campus location.

Pricing

Bartending Course Registration

• Includes a bartending tote bag, a completion certificate, and a bulk pack specially prepared by the Mainline Center School for the Penn Student Agencies Bartending Class.

TIPS Certification Course

• Training for Intervention procedures by Servers of Alcohol. Useful certification to have for working behind the bar. Price includes manual, instruction, and testing fees.

Penn Student Agencies does not provide refunds for bartending classes.

About The Main Line Center

The Main Line Center for Bartending is a state licensed school located in Philadelphia (Manayunk). MLCB is only a 20 minute train ride, via the R6 from 30th Street Station. Those who wish to complete the course will learn everything necessary to work behind any full service bar, and will be provided with on the job training as well as job placement assistance.
